Journalistic standards are for the weak.
On Friday, the Metro Herald (and other sources, including dozens online) printed the kind of nonsense one would expect the Fox news brain trust to spit forth. “Rickets on the rise for gaming children” is the headline, including a fifteen year old picture of Lara Croft, because the article needed a little more sneering, lazy condescension. Comic book adaptation – I do not think it means what you think it means.

As comic publishers go, I have a lot of time for Wildstorm. They’ve got a manageable number of titles to keep up to date with and they seem to be happy enough to let the actions of the various characters have lasting impact that actually matters in later titles and most importantly with the rare exception, dead means dead, even for central characters.
